"Forgotten Faces" exhibit in the Bonyhad old ("Neologue") synagogue, etc.

Hello,

A meaningful exhibit "Forgotten Faces" was created by people in Bonyhad  in 2014 for the 70th anniversary of the Shoah in Hungary and is still in the synagogue building.

A nice and talented photographer in Bonyhad, Re'ka Ma'te' (her first name is Re'ka) , photographed the exhibit last week and I converted the photos to a video for those who would like to get an impression of the exhibit.

Last week 2 large blue background enamel signs were mounted on the old synagogue external wall (about the Shoah in Bonyhad and about the synagogue) and a sign was placed about the Shoah in the old ("Neologue") cemetery. The design files were emailed from Jerusalem to Bonyhad where the local enamel factory manufactured the signs. Manufacture and mounting of the signs was handled by the Soha Tobbe Soa! (Never Again Soa!) foundation in Boyhad.

Signs about the Shoa were placed in 2014 on the wall of the Orthodox synagogue, in the Orthodox cemetery and at the sport field where the Jews of Bonyhad and vicinity spent the last days in terrible conditions before the transport to Auschwitz. A sign about the Orthodox synagogue was also placed on its wall.

Best Wishes,
Larry Pfeffer
